Celebrate International Carfree Day on Glasgow’s Kelvin Way!

Free, family-friendly fun on a road closed to traffic: street play, cycling, funny bikes, pedal powered soundsystem, dancing and much more…

Reclaim Glasgow streets for play and for leisure!

Most of Kelvin Way will be closed from 12noon – 6p.m. on Saturday 22/9/2018.

Take advantage of the road closure by bringing their own picnics and bikes and play equipment to enjoy the beautiful tree-lined avenue that is Kelvin Way and enjoying the range of entertainment and activities which will be on offer.

Highlights will include:-

  • Dr Bike
  • Skills track by Cycling Scotland
  • Smoothie bike
  • Funny bikes from Free Wheel North
  • Funny costumes
  • Parklet
